Andrew Stuart is returning for his eighth season at Andy’s. He has been painting and designing professionally for twelve years throughout New England, and in New York. His work has been seen in projects with The Huntington Theatre Co. of Boston, Visual Design Associates of Somerville, Seismic Scenic, Lyric Stage Co. of Boston, Boston Opera, The Boston Conservatory, ZOOM for WGBH, The New England Conservatory, The Commonwealth Shakespeare Co., UMASS Amherst, Boston Early Music Festival, Granite State Opera, High Fidelity Theatre, and Broadway productions of King Hedley II and Hedda Gabler, to name a few. Andy has BA’s in Theatre Design and Communication Arts. He is the recipient of the 1999 National Barbizon Set Design Award given in conjunction with The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for his design of Robert Lawson’s Poison|Heart. Currently, he owns New City Scenic and Display, LLC, a full service design and fabrication company in Easthampton, MA, with his partner Amy Davis.
